Night-O training in Tête Plumée, trying to keep it simple. I screwed up nicely a control by wanting to catch up lost time, and screwed up big time the 16th control. I left to early the road, didn't have my mind straigth. It took me 8+ minutes to find the control, without the control being particularly far away from the one before, while it took me ~ 2-3' for each other usual control... Could've done better. Finished with Philipp, Gegnerkontakt on the 3 last controls :)

Routechoice training, going rather easy.

Double sprint in Macolin. The goal was to run at a fast pace the downhill-ish first sprint, then go easy on the uphill-ish second one. I was really happy with my first sprint except the 5th control where I didn't understand s*** to the control area, and totally screwed up the finish, didn't see the control in the fog and left in the opposite direction, lost minimum 35'' :)

Jogging with the university, now with a really nice and amazing team. Short list: one guy running Ironmans and Gigathlons, another guy 3rd swiss in cross U23 2010, 2 gals running 60km-trails, 1 gril aiming for a podium on the Tour du Canton this year, a spanish girl who used to do walking competition... Pretty fun! We have grown a bit since last week, now we're ~10. We did some core and ankle strength training afterwards

Usual start, going up to Serroue. I wanted to go for the tour in Serroue rather than Valangin. SUDDENLY, as I was reaching the top of the hill, my Polar was showing 215 heartbeats per minute. I though it was a mistake and handcheck. Pretty scary to feel your heart going crazy in your chest. The heartrate went down steadily after a few seconds, but I got a bit scared and went back home, running on the main roads... Not sure what it was!

1-2-3-4-5-4-3-2-1 with 50% rest, 1'58'' rest after the the last interval, then ran as fast as possible until the stadium with Alex and Samet, pretty fun! Running with Alex always makes me realize how much more I have to train to reach a decent level, which is very motivating!

I went back to the car early to do some XC-skiing. I was hoping to hold for one hour, but I did 2 in the end. Nice loop (~6.5km), with some denivelation on the 2 first kms, then flast with slight downhill from time to time, which helps a lot. The last loop seemed like a good idea until I finished it and went back to the car. I was really exhausted and felt sick, went directly to bed and didn't get up before 7p.m. I was coughing a lot and wanted to throw up, but it all went away after I rested and started to it.
