10x400m in 1'40''. Feeling good, so the real times were 1'33'', 1'36'', 1'34'', 1'39'', 1'39'' (these two were ran with some sharp turns), 1'34'', 1'34'', 1'31'', 1'31''.

Running intervals 30:00 [4] 6.23 km (4:49 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel DS Trainer 17

15' 80% + 5' recuperation + 10' 80%. I tried running @ 13km/h minimum during the two intervals and around 10km/h for the recuperation. In the end, it was pretty close (13.1, 9.7 [took a few seconds to breathe after the 15'], 12.9 [had to stop and change route because a fence was standing in my way]).

Pretty tough! But if felt really good :)

Running intervals 18:14 [4] 4.15 km (4:24 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel DS Trainer 17

10x300m at 16km/h (1'08''), with 100m pause. It didn't know where my VMA would be so I tried to run above 16. It didn't turn out so bad, especially considering I haven't ran intervals for a while. It felt good running a bit fast again :)

Note

One hour climbing, had to stop for a week or so due to tendinitis in the left wrist and the colloque last week.

Easy jog with Caroline, CHUV-Ouchy-CHUV. We didn't push on the way downhill, so we didn't get a fast pace. Still, it was fun, the uphill part was easy, running near the Tribunal Federal. It would be interesting to run this course at a faster pace...

Note

Two (three) days in Geneva for a Colloque we were organizing.

Fair to say we got lost...Who, in his right mind, would put two bridges, one after the other, with a nice tiny track + bigger track leading to the SEWERS. Fun, though. We ended up all muddy but discovered a nice river and a few waterfalls.

Nice extensive jog with Caroline, starting from the CHUV, going to Sauvablin, climbing up the tower - this is gonna be a heck of a stair training in the future :) - and then down to the cathedral, and up the "Calvair road". Guess why it's named this way? It was pretty steep, but I tried to push as hard as possible. Had to wait for her before going on.
