Euromeeting Sprint - Cesis

Feeling good. Pretty simple so pushed hard. One wrong route choice maybe but am happy with the rest of the performance. Only bad point was the MP. Absolute tit!

Ran directly past my control and punched the girls penultimate control instead. Stopped looking at the map and have into running too hard. Need to focus till the end.

Happy with the performance and would have been fastest Brit with a good result so bitter sweet.

Euromeeting long

Great race! Started steady, got in a good rhythm and pushed hard.

Was caught by a Fin in the butterfly and held him easily, pushed ahead and lost him with a better route choice but he got ahead again and I lost him with a poor choice to go straight through the green towards the end.

Very pleased with my discipline of focusing on technique and that my fitness held well to the end.

Good discipline focusing on exits. Only a couple of small misses. Legs had nothing. Felt very tired.

Nice and marshy and making me work hard. Very good to have Tom there to run with - made all the difference to push on.

Easy steady (with a couple of little efforts/strides) round Croydon common/ the old airfield.

Kept fluctuating between feeling really good and heavy and slow but on the whole moving okay. Stomach troubles from 30min- think it's dehydration related
