Lee Mills Fell Race

4 man Relay- lots of snow, lots of mud, lots and lots of fun.

Great tactics today - put our least experienced runner on leg one who understandably had a tough time. Chris came in about 15mins down.

I then went out on leg 2 in 33rd and smashed it through. Short and fast race - loved it! Very difficult conditions but this suited me perfectly. After many dunks into unseen marshes I ran the team into 3rd.

Fraser and Ben then ran really strongly to put Chorlton into 2nd!! Very happy!

A little frustrated as their timings were terrible and although I had the fastest time of the day, I missed out on 20 quid

Realised I was late so had to pick up the pace - saw the train pulling in at the end of the high street and had to smash the last 400. Just jumped through the doors in time. Bit of morning excitement

Felt good and was pushing hard. Having to really dig on the last 5 and was massively swimming in lactic by then but held on for consistent times
