Wu - whole of the L hip feeling tight.

Intervals tempo 30:00 [4] 8.76 km (3:25 / km)

Intervals - solo along the canal

5x 5mins (2min), 5x 1min (1min)

Very blustery, muddy and wet.

Found this hard but didn’t expect anything else. Hip loosened but feeling a little weak to begin with.

No where near the pace I was aiming at/ should be at but the intensity was right for the surface and I need to get on more difficult surfaces.

Easy cruise from work to Urmston then Chassen Road with Jonny.

Very wet and muddy so was sliding around in flats. Stretford meadows was particularly wet.

Good to have some company - made it fly by compared to normal.

Felt my hammie in the first 10 mins or so but it behaved after that.

Easy along the canal

Starting to feel better for this easy running. Glute a little touchy but nothing on last week

Note

Chorlton Massage - Jonny Harris
Hour massage of quads, hamstrings and glutes. Still not convinced that he is any good but something is better than nothing.

Rolled it out when I got home.

Monday Jan 29 #

12 PM

Running 47:42 [2] 10.5 km (4:33 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Inspire (mileage)

Light and easy steady to save the hamstring

Not too painful, glute getting tighter towards the end. Felt okay at this pace but will stay away from faster stuff for a couple of days
