running tempo (cold drizzle whole way) 1:07:13 [3] 5.5 mi (12:13 / mi)
(rest day) shoes: Saucony Gortex

For how horrible the weather is (for walking/running) this actually was not too bad a run. I walked way less as I just wanted to get it over with. The way I dressed seemed to be perfect...6 layers on top...2 tank tops, t shirt, long sleeve nylon shirt, wind breaker with hood that I used and gore tex jacket; north face waterproof pants and some tights that actually seemed to support my legs just exactly they way they are supposed to...imagine that.

I fell into nice shuffle stride right from the beginning and when I walked I was able to fall right back into it. Only walked twice the second half. No splits the watch was covered up.

One of those runs that makes you feel tough, but if I had not been dressed properly then it would have been miserable to be out in it. 33 but 21 wc.

2 or 3 hours after I finished it started icing some. Streets still ok but trees and grass have light coating...some limbs bending. This is six week ahead of 'schedule'!!! Usually into December before we would have weather like this.

Afternoon: 45 minutes of everything inside. Free weights; floor core; lite stretching; foam roller; standing leg kicks and swirls; arm and leg bands.
