golf 10:00 [3] 4.0 mi (2:30 / mi)

5 PM

running intervals (lightning+ sprinkles) 3:00 [3] 0.5 mi (6:00 / mi)
shoes: LunarGlide8

My form is so wild...if I can just keep doing speed I believe one of the biggest benefits from it is my form...my muscles are too weak to run fast...it's not just leg turn over...it's form. Did about 8 or so quick starts...it really seems to be helping the fast twitch muscles come to life...I can take off much faster and hold it for about 75 yards...

What is weird is these 200's feel like 400's...I run and run and run just to do half a lap. It's like I've describing crossing a 4 lane street now...I judge the traffic and when it's 'safe' I take off...I run and run and run...and at that point I'm about half way across the street and the car I saw a mile up the road is about to run me down...it's pitiful...I'm running my 4 mile square with all kinds of side access streets and parking lot entry/exits and I am taking my life in my hands getting across them safely.
45.37
45.53
43.94 (my 'record' for past year anyway}
45.23 needed a little more rest...storm was whipping up although it never got as bad as it seemed it would..it really was crazy to be out in the lightning although mostly it was thunder

running tempo (disappointing!) 4:12 [3] 0.5 mi (8:24 / mi)
shoes: LunarGlide8

running (no pep in stride) 51:42 [3] 5.0 mi (10:20 / mi)
shoes: LunarGlide8

2 x Okie Christian Trail around campus...lite spitting rain. OU versus Ohio State delayed 1.5 hours due to storm...lightning and rain. All during my once a week quick workout of course...rainbow came out within 15 minutes of finishing...

I think I could have run faster but I was afraid the storm would get out of control so I did not get quit enough rest the last 2 ...200's and between the 200's and the 800.

walk trot (3 walk day week) 1:11:23 [3] 4.6 mi (15:31 / mi)
shoes: Nike Zoom Trainer

Whether running, walking or biking I'm holding my breath some...some days not much other days a lot...by coincidence maybe I'm running faster...simulated altitude...can't hold it long...10 to 15 steps depending on if I'm walking or running...sometimes I hold it for just two or three strides thinking it might actually 'absorb' in better to my blood rather than panting along with shallow breathes...another Bagwell theory.

I'll hold it for two steps up to 5 and then do it 1 to 3 more times...then go awhile before I do it again.

shoes: LunarGlide8

Man oh man did I wear the heels today...already have to put shoe goo on my new shoes after 20 miles...the shoes do feel good...had gotten used to less cushion from racing flat like training shoes but I need the cushion sometimes...

Beginning of summer faced heat and humidity I just was not strong enough to hold up to...so could only do 9 milers and had to walk a lot...
