At 1.5m I was ahead of pace for past 2 weeks...not much faster than last week but still ahead by 10 seconds. By 2.1 I was feeling like my blood sugar was already depleted and weakening by the step...every so often I can run through that...well at least in the past maybe...but even in those bygone days of my youth I usually crashed when I began to feel this way...I thought about trying to run 8, then 6 then settled on 5...actually for 5 I did not crash like I would have thought...I just could not go any faster. Frustratingly it was a waste of a really nice morning even with the humidity. Figures.
I may do something where I alternate Sunday long run with shorter runs...
Bumped right knee 3 days ago on door just before run. It feels puffy at times but does not hurt and does not bother me during run just annoying after the run...ice it and use the ole Australian patch that helps drain stuff.
