Was really tired....4th day back from vacation and ruined already...10 months until retirement...and 11 days...crap. Ran in Nike's...like army boots compared to HOKA...but I gotta get my money's worth...and I did run quick even though I would have guess I would barely break 10 min pace when I started.

Cut back .6 just needed a little more rest. I did 14 hard strides Sat after a month of really pushing it. Time to cut back a few days.

Still windy and it was really gusting the first 1.5 miles.

I ran about 1.2 and decided time to walk jog the rest of the way...even before I started I said I would do 7 instead of 8...about 1 plus within 2 strides went to 5 and then 3...into stiff wind going out...it helped coming back and last mile finally got some leg turn over but legs were dead...knees sore...right knee keeps puffing up just a little...not really hurting or anything...

I've pushed it hard for a month...so I earned this rest...I am still happy to have done the 100's yesterday...I think they may be key to getting more leg speed and turn over...I just cannot run fast enough longer than 200's to gain speed and I can't do many 200's.
