I never ran that well in the LunarGlide 6's but I walk really fast in them...kinda like the Hoka Infinite. I was feeling so good I decided to add another I used to for running. I could really train now except for one thing...I can't.

My hip seems ok but not sure if I ran if it would tighten back up and then I would lose the rest time I've put in so I'm going to try to hold off...but at the same time my left ham is kinda tight...for walking that is...

I'm doing a LOT of non running stuff now...not a whole bunch of any one exercise but just a lot of them...from hitting the punching stand bag to jumps to situps to hip exercises, and light weights.

Hip ok but back of leg below it a little stiff...that is where I felt a pulling sensation the other day during my marathon 20 step test trotting...might as well play it safe at this point and let rest and the hip exercises work...I stopped the tube/ban stuff with legs as that seemed to be same as weights and straining instead of building or helping...kinda like with bike riding for me...I had knee issues when I rode...even when I eased on the the into my head (and my knee of course) so I decided to give it up unless I can't walk or jog but can ride.

Played in 2 hours 15 minutes. 9 holes on Aqua Canyon front 9 and the National Course back 9. Shot about 11 over with a mulligan.

Tried a few 5 to 10 step jogs...less than 10 of them...last one felt a tug so hip was more bothersome/oddly tight than usual for walking but I did walk close to 10 miles today (a round of golf can be 5 miles with all the walking between holes). Icing and hunkering down for possibly another long stretch of several weeks of walking. Fought this nearly 2 weeks now and just not getting better trying to slip in some jogging here and there.

Hip barely stiff at all so not sure why when I run it is so bothersome.

Followed by 'punching', jumps, steps, weights, bands...not too much of any one thing but about 45 min of stuff. Can do it as retired geezer.

I am going to have to back off more. Tried to push through but every idea has, heat, cutting back some, no track stuff, hip exercises, heel lifts...nothing worked. Dull ache until 4 miles I stopped and walk/jogged in. 1 mile slow because it was dark and I ran through 3/4 mile of torn up road...and I am too uncoordinated now and night blind to do that...I really do not do running in the dark well...the Phantom Runner is no more.

I'll still go day by day but will walk plan before this terrible outing was to try to run 3.5 Tues and Thurs and 5 to 7 on Sunday but maybe I need to just walk.

I do not see any comeback...ironically those 200's on my last day of work finished off my hip. Up until then even other speed work and running only had a slight soreness...since then its been far more sore. It really does not bother me much walking...mostly not at that's good.
