Semi rest day. I just go with the flow but no matter what I hold back even if I feel ok such as today. Got warmed up even in the cooler wind and each mile got quicker...ranged from just under 15 to about 10:15 last mile...

Never got going but I didn't die either just not able to speed up as much as I wanted...it was windy and that seemed to drain all my power...I was in shorts and long sleeved shirt and it was nearly 70 but the wind was too tough for me today. I ran 6 Sunday, 5 Tues quick (for me), 7.5 miles yesterday walking and golf-walking so I guess it caught up to me.

Sun out. Wind not too bad and over 40 when I started...it felt warmer. First quarter mile I was struggling but gradually got going.

26:37 for first 2.5 lap.
23:21 for second lap about 9:05 last mile mostly fighting the wind...not super Okie level death wind but enough to wear you down.

Got going at times but other times leg heavy especially up the slightest incline...route today is the 'hilliest' I have...nothing compared to Duluth but it felt like downtown Duluth at times (going uphill). Partly due to all the layering up.

I thought I ran at least 2 minutes slower this week but ran 17 seconds faster than last Sunday. Second Sunday starting pitch black and spoiled already by the Beal light. Started out with the dimmest setting but changed to second brightest about 2 miles in...

Also I felt like it was warmer than expected but just looked and it is 19 with 7 degree WC.
