Another slow start. 13:10 1M and 25:10 or so at 2m. At 4.5 about 53:45. 2nd half was 46:30. Managed a 9:15 last mile somehow. Really discouraged first 1/3 of the way...but when you are going so slow you barely have to speed up to really drop your mile splits and overall average. Got going at 3.5 and mentally felt better at 5 but about 6.5 turned into mild wind for 2 miles and I was a little weak mentally for next half mile as it was up slight incline.
Early on I was really daunted by the 9 mile goal, but I was last week in the brutal cold wind...today mild and ran in my tights. Rarely do these days. Either I feel need for pants or its warm enough for shorts.
