13:30 first mile and only 25:30 at 2. 30:45 at halfway. Got going about 2 but I had my doubts about how much I could speed up. Right knee just slightly stiff and achy so I thought about doing 4 only but glad I stuck it out last mile about 9:10 and last half about 24:20 or so. I've had a lack of energy to run sustained quick (relative to me only)...and even the 'slower quick runs' leave me drained.

Not sure if I have a mini-virus or what.

Friday was my one year retirement anniversary.

Pooped out today. Shuffling along with some short walking respites but at 2 I felt my energy dying away so I switched to taking about 5 to 10 steps and gradually added a few until doing about 20 steps of walking...I would shuffle along building up to striding out...this got better and better and I had the wind last 1.5 so got a few good 50 to 75 yard efforts in to make this a worthwhile workout.

Windy, hot...strides started after .25...about 20 yards trotting along. By 1 mile hit grassy areas and sped up when I surged...pretty warm the last mile. Wind really pushed me along 2nd half.
