Saturday Mar 16 #

10 AM

walk trot (nice day wahoooooo) 53:30 [3] 3.5 mi (15:17 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Infinite

I'm still trying to do hops and jumps to add spring to legs...since I've started had to stop a few days and not really doing a lot but hips and calves and hams all have acted up...did a great ham stretching set this morning...found a series of 7 exercises all of which I had seen before but not together and I did them...still felt a little tightness in left ham about 2.75 miles but I was flying as I walked by then. Also overdressed so I would be sweating and loose as possible.

I continue to fight the fight with the help of Google stuff...at least there is 'long walking' now to keep me relatively fit when I have to shut down all running and trotting.
2 PM

golf (Kickingbird ) 10:00 [3] 4.0 mi (2:30 / mi)
shoes: Sketcher Golf

Friday Mar 15 #

10 AM

walk trot (sunny cold) 1:11:12 [3] 5.0 mi (14:14 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Clifton 2

Minimalist leggings in the cold wind do not seem to be working out...when I'm going into wind my outer hamstrings tend to tighten...today my left one tightened twice when going into NW wind...trotted along for 25 to 200 yards mostly about 50 to 75 yards...

Thursday Mar 14 #

10 AM

walk trot (windy) 1:23:56 [3] 5.25 mi (15:59 / mi)
shoes: Adidas Duramo 9

Debating on whether to actually do some trotting tomorrow.

Wednesday Mar 13 #

10 AM

walk trot (sun came out windy ugh) 1:18:20 [3] 5.0 mi (15:40 / mi)
shoes: New Balance 460

Tuesday Mar 12 #

11 AM

walk trot (overcast misty but nice) 1:15:49 [3] 5.0 mi (15:10 / mi)
shoes: New Balance 880 WB 4

I got to 'flying' after a first mile of about 16 minutes. Guess I'm getting my walking legs back. Hamstring feels ok now but guess I'll be safe...should have backed off last week and walked and I would be back to running already...live and repeat mistakes (not live and learn).

Monday Mar 11 #

8 AM

golf (Guthrie Augusta) 10:00 [3] 4.0 mi (2:30 / mi)
shoes: Sketcher Golf

4 PM

walk trot (cloudy but nice) 1:04:22 [3] 4.05 mi (15:54 / mi)
shoes: Nike Pegasus 34

Sunday Mar 10 #

6 AM

walk trot ($!*%$#! time change) 1:21:29 [3] 5.0 mi (16:18 / mi)
shoes: LunarGlide8

Nice morning. Pink pee after nearly 24 hours of clear. Guess I will have to go back to making at least one rest day a week walking only no matter how good I feel...not walk trot at all on that day.

I could not get going until the last half mile...it had been over a month since I walked and I guess I lost some of my 'walking speed'...ha.
