Moderate wind...overdressed for 60 weather so I would sweat and hopefully be a little looser. Not going for fast time...semi-rest day again...

Thursday Mar 28 #

running (nice but windy ugh) 50:48 [3] 5.0 mi (10:10 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Clifton 2

The ole Clifton 2's really felt great today.

1M 11:15 (same split I think as Tues)
2M 21:45 (10:30)
3M 31:54 (10:10-half mile of this into the wind)
4M 41:41 (9:47)
5M 50:58 (9:07)

Wednesday Mar 27 #

10 AM

walk trot (sluggish plus wind ugh) 1:01:47 [3] 5.0 mi (12:21 / mi)
shoes: Adidas Duramo 9

Semi-rest day that I just go as I feel...and I felt sluggish...then wind seemed to pick up and ran whole second half into wind or with side wind that pushed into a little. I stopped a few more times than 'normal' due to how I felt.

Temp 61...it is over 50% humidity and steady wind of about 20mph which when unimpeded by trees and structures is like 30mph with those impeditments...and yet AP weather report says 61 that feels like 61. It did not feel like 61 and if its windy it's going to feel cooler on a day like this...sick of bad weather reports...AccuWeather even worse...says 64 feels like 65....winds are 18 to 26mph...so I guessed 20mph without any fancy equipment...except for my massive computer like brain (never mind it is a Apple 1 from 1980's or so)>

Tuesday Mar 26 #

10 AM

running (OC Trail 2.5 mile loops) 51:11 [3] 5.0 mi (10:14 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Ghost 9

Beautiful. Wore two calf sleeves...it felt like they were holding me back again...using my secret conversion charts based on 48 years of research the run was equivalent to 4:19 pace. I'm really motoring along these days.

1M 11:15
2M 21:47 (10:32)
3M 32:06 (10:19)
4M 42:02 (9:56)
5M 51:11 (9:09)

Sunday Mar 24 #

5 AM

walk trot (dark humid nice) 1:27:26 [3] 6.55 mi (13:21 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Ravenna 8

It was go out into the dark or listen to mama bear rant on about our cub (to be 22 in June) and his girl. It was humid and I run slower in humidity in my old age. It was dark. I definitely run slower in the dark in my old age. I did not get to do any sort of warm up, loosening up and stretching and in my old age that causes me to run slower. All things considering using my age conversion factor chart I ran the equivalent of 4:15 a mile.

Never got going but accepted the pace and shuffled along. It's good for endurance and non-stressful calorie burning.
