walk trot (KIDNEY STONE UGH) 1:10:55 6.0 mi (11:49 / mi)
shoes: Adidas Duramo 9
Yesterday evening it began to feel like I strained my lower right back...but then it got worse and I realized it was probably a kidney stone. Hard to move...it's like someone kicked you. I had one worse once...my kidney or what I felt like was my kidney felt like the size of a watermelon. I could barely walk...drove around looking for emergency place...I never go to those so of course I went to walk in clinic that was closed...then it just disappeared.
I tried lemon water...some new magic potion called stone breaker I got about a week ago...olive oil, apple cider vinegar, etc...googled and all those were mentioned...and a tylenol. I had not taken any aspirin, aleve, ibuprofen or tylenol in about 3 days after yet another life lesson that all things are bad for you, including air, sun, water, food, etc. I gave in and took some tylenol...it let up by about 50%.
Went out about 5:45 not knowing what to expect including perhaps having to shut down after a mile or two and just slow walking. I was going so slow that after half mile I just kept the trotting up as it was so slow. But I began to do some short 5 to 15 yard surges...if you can call them that about a mile or mile and quarter...and actually got going and pain went away. But once I stopped my kidney are is still sore and painful although much better.
2M 28:00 (13:40)
3M 40:10 (12:10)
4M 50:50 (10:40)
5M 1:01 (10:10)
6m 1:10:55 (9:55)
So first mile super slow even for Sun am in dark and cold but last 4 especially very good all things considered.
