I was weak and dizzy...especially the back nine.

The New Balance are cheaply made but nice to walk in...trotting along not so much...sometimes they have felt ok but not really today. I was just going to walk but decided to do some trotting...I felt horrible in every way at first... form, breathing, posture, etc etc...about 1/3 of the way I started doing Zatopek breath holding when I trotted and that improved immediately...it was as if the breath-holding distracted me from how poor my form was...it was hot and humid and windy.

I felt great yesterday when I was supposed to feel bad due to the anesthesia then today I felt like I had cement in my blood all day.

Heat and humidity really stressed me. Takes me a long time now...about half the summer to toughen up to heat.

Tried to do some track strides but right groin/inner thigh tightened a little after first rep...not a pull but if I kept doing reps felt more of a risk it would tighten up more not loosen up. If just trotting along it would be fine.

I may even need to take several days off of strides to let my legs 'freshen up'.

Awkward at start but still did a 22 which is almost 7 min pace...run slower on road/street. Hopefully because its a stride or two long.

80's plus killer humidity again.

26:35 1st loop which was faster than I would have expected (10:38)
24:22 2nd loop...which was also faster than I expected for how I felt (9:45)

Zatopeks...breath-holding. I can't hold breath long count to 14 on average...sometimes can get up to 20 but rare.

Had to do extra again to dodge the big SE corner puddles. Really humid...as in REALLY.

Started 'reverse' so first mile quicker...like OC.

I don't remember my splits since I turned around and there was the extra yards anyway.

About 29:45 first lap...

I got back from YMCA (less than 10 min away) logged in miles then went out to do these and after 3 steps shut it down. NO WAY. So I rode bike and decided maybe the bike would loosen me back up...it did although usually I would say its the opposite...first one was 2 seconds faster than my other starts...each one quicker...up on balls of my feet by second one rather than after 3 or 4...
