The golf completely drained me even tho it was very pleasant temp today. It did finally warm up enough to cook me...I started to bail out at 2 miles and cut off half mile as I was barely under 12 min pace but I pressed on. Final average much quicker than it seemed possible...yes it is slow slow slow but relative to how I felt it was all I had.

Weak and achy before I ran...probably from the medicine/ciprofloxacin for bacterial infection. 3 days in on taking it (2nd time this year). Incredibly nice...slight se breeze but the temp was so much cooler than normal really could not complain (okay I can complain anytime...anywhere...about anything). Slow start and form not really great until last mile or so.

1. 9:42.3 1 mile of alternating trot/stride 100 meter
2. 1.36.2 440 (4 x 110)
3. 1:43.8 440 (2 x 220)

About 3-4 minutes between mile and the 440's. During 440's took a short trot while I recovered.

My form was terrible whole first mile of this. It smoothed out during first 440. Second 440 the last 60 yards or so of each 220 my form and speed were failing. I actually ran second 220 faster by a lot (53.9 then 49.9)

I think that with the chiropractic adjustments now the next step is doing enough fast running to smooth out my form...meaning right leg able to 'keep up' with my left leg. I know this sounds nutty, but I've noticed all kinds of athletes have weird things to overcome or people in life in general so I guess that's my obstacle now.

1 big loop and 3 soccer loops (.5 each). Much cooler and less humidity so it was great. Between speed work and cooler temp able to push on.

I warmed up and was ready for a big day but I had nothing in the gas tank so I converted this to rest day. Beautiful and would have loved to run in this cooler weather...but it was a great walk...slow though.

.2 or so walk trot warmup...still barely could move right leg first mile plus...there was some grass first half mile but not much after that until 1.65 miles. Once I hit the long stretch of mostly grass I got going...glad it was not one degree warmer...even though much cooler still in high 80's. My right leg is back to being lame again...go to chiropractor tomorrow but once it got warmer I ran a few miles less and missed out on a lot of stride work...fast running is the main 'cure' for my lame leg.
