walk trot (walk only rest day) 46:15 [3] 3.0 mi (15:25 / mi)
shoes: Adidas Duramo 9

I truly am a robot...I was thinking so much about my story that I forgot except at halfway 24 min so 16 minute pace then had wind at back 22:15 for second half. Last quarter mile about 14 min pace/3:30...I went to a clinic to see what they recommended and they recommended I get my sorry butt off the premises...it was understandable, but the guy was pretty hard core about it. My primary care doc office also basically shut down...sent email...we will set up an virtual appointment for him to look at knee...hopefully he can drain it rather than going to orthopedic guy...I asked if I should just go to one and its not like he sent to on down the road.

No pain just stupid blobo bump that I hate looking at and it does make the knee slightly stiff at first until I get moving, but that's the story of my body anyway.

running (longer overcast nice) 1:07:42 [3] 6.0 mi (11:17 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Ride ISO

The Saucony Ride ISO are my favorite now. Was going to do 5.5 on the Y Trail but I just didn't think I could/should try to run there for whatever reason...thought of OC Trail but I didn't feel fast...so I decided to do either 5 or 5.5. As I started I decided to to 5.5...added on .5 at beginning...at 2.5 I felt okay and said might as well go for 6. Ironically I was running under 50 for 5 miles at OC and for only a mile further for sidewalk neighborhood run took me 17 minutes longer...in fact 20 minutes longer than my fastest 5 miler about 6 or 7 weeks ago. I still consider this a good run.

2M 25:30 (11:40)
3M 37:00 (11:30)

5M 57:30 (10:20)

running (earlier nice nice nice) 56:39 [3] 5.0 mi (11:20 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Triumph ISO 5

Wow it took me awhile to get going. Everyday I keep telling myself to go get the knee drained...if I knew they would do it for sure and it would loosen up the knee I would go for sure. Afraid I"ll get the run around and told to just let things be. I can run. It does not hurt. I'm sick of looking at the blister bump and it is slightly stiff for about half the run...not stiff in a hurt way...just not as fluid although fluid is the reason ironically.

1M 13:45 ugh...just shuffling along using tremendous willpower
2M 26:00 (12:15 this was pretty pitiful speed up)
3M 37:20 (11:20...more like it but I'm way off on pace)
4M 57:24 (10:04 now this was surprising)
5M 56:39 (9:15...if you had told me I was going to run the last two mile at this 'blistering' pace after 2 miles I would have said no way).

This really was not a hard day...just get out and run and then go to one of the trails tomorrow hopefully.

Have a tooth to fill this morning so I go out early and cut my idiotic one hour warm up in half.

walk trot (walk rest day) 46:19 [3] 3.0 mi (15:26 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Gortex

Was going to do a 5 miler for my one 'medium' non-walk day, but I didn't even want to warm up...if I did a 5 miler even easy it would still be 3 running workouts in 4 days...I want/need to do that, but I have to pick the timing of that...and that being I had the tiniest of tweaks of right calf (troublesome one...wait everything on right side seems to be troublesome...) still have stupid bubble on knee, but it seems fine otherwise...still slightly sore as are both elbows although left more sore.

1M 16:00
2M 31:30 (15:30) started faster today but speed up was not as much
3M 46:19 (14:49)

running (neighbors overcast nice) 1:01:06 [3] 5.5 mi (11:07 / mi)
shoes: Skecher GoRun7

I did about 3 or 4 pickups of about 15-25 yards. Also did around 13 or 14 fartlek pickups of average of about 45 yards...my stride was off more today than any time since trip and fall...it did not hurt and it was ok during the pickups after 2 or 3 steps at most. Never quite completely smoothed out...and whenever I finished a stride out I slowed more than I should have and when I transitioned to no more pickups after 3.5 miles I was going to slow at first. I had to use a lot of willpower to get the pace down last 1.5 miles.

1M 13:00
2M 24:15 (11:15)
3M 34:50 (10:35)
4M 46:00 (11:10)
5M 56:20 (10:20)
5.5 1:01:06 (4:46 last half mile...last mile was 9:44)

golf (Kickingbird ) 10:00 [3] 4.0 mi (2:30 / mi)
shoes: Skecher Golf Cream

Course soggy from rain although temp was nice. Semi foggy at times. Stupid bermuda grass is still mostly dead and very thin so wet, thin lies...so I did what I could. It's golf...even though if you watched me you would think I had my life savings or house bet on every hole. I'm not that calm a golfer.
2 PM

walk trot (walk rest day) 46:14 [3] 3.0 mi (15:25 / mi)
shoes: Adidas Duramo 9

1M 16:30
2M 31:35 (15:05)
3M 46:14 (14:39)

Robot Ironman...only 1 second difference than Sat!

running (misty soaking wet ugh) 1:28:10 [3] 7.5 mi (11:45 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Ride ISO

Ugh...the Gortex shoes kept my feet dryer longer but they have little bounce, especially when your legs are going dead...they felt deader today...this was a good run under the circumstances...sidewalks puddles and traces of mud here and there...wore Gortex suit also...shoes and socks still were weighing me down by the end...no splits...too dark and overcast. No pickup at the end...just staggered in trying to hold my pace.

I did manage to do 16 fartlek pickups...also did about 3-4 ten step warm up for the warmup...averages about 40 yards I guess maybe 45. Pace was slower and form not as good but I did what I could today.
