running long (long slow n hot hot) 1:39:52 [4] 9.0 mi (11:06 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Mach 4

20 min drill warm up. Nice when I started but by 3M I could feel the heat and was already a little thirsty. I may have to experiment with carrying a small amount of water. James bought us 4 small 'tubes' to store anything small on the trip...they seem to hold water without leaking and are about the size of a quarter so not too bulky.

80 when I finished.

1st 4.5M... 52:15..... 11:37
2nd 4.5M.. 47:38.... 10:35 only sped up a minute a mile due to heat.

running tempo (back from Orlando at noon) 42:58 [3] 3.3 mi (13:01 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Arahi 5 Brite Blue

Up at 2:30...too tired to try to walk...left Orlando at 6am (ET)...American Airlines...plane issues with over hour delay but in by noon. Mowed, edged and trimmed yard. Warm...88...tired...started out to mostly walk but once I trotted a few times felt better than expected...mind game of walk/trot/surge to get through this.

(rest day) shoes: Hoka ATR Challenger5 Dark Blue

running (Orlando ) 32:47 [3] 2.75 mi (11:55 / mi)
shoes: Hoka ATR Challenger5 Dark Blue

Same as yesterday. About 25 min drill warmup. Walk trot surge. At least 12 or more etc. Walking 7 or more miles at the parks About tw
O miles is the shuffle n stop waiting in line for rides. Both parks full of people but the movement of lines much better at universal. The Harry Potter stuff at universal is unbelievable. Huge castles. HUGE. Great times.

running tempo (Orlando ) 32:42 [3] 2.75 mi (11:53 / mi)
shoes: Hoka ATR Challenger5 Dark Blue

25 min warmup drills.

Walk trot surge. About 12 surges. Smooth quick and about 35 yard average. Not as tired as I expected. James is a theme park maniac. We were at Magic Kingdom 14 hours. About killed me. Two or three hours would have been enough. It felt like ultra training I was so tired.

running (Orlando) 33:11 [3] 2.55 mi (13:01 / mi)
shoes: Hoka ATR Challenger5 Dark Blue

15 min warmup leg bands reduced floor core 35SU standing leg drills. Sluggish at first. Walked n trotted and got to feeling much better. Even did 3 or 4 surges. Walked my legs off at airports and Disney last night.

Walked 7 miles per one of James buddy’s Apple Watch. 14 hour ultra day at magic kingdom. Literally felt I was in a ultra race I was so numb. Rode a few wild rides where I had to close my eyes due to group pressure. Words like coward and p-ssy was tossed around but I finally rebeled and said enuff. James is wild for this type stuff. Chrissy too. Me not so much but overall good time. Two of his college buddy’s and his girlfriend Kait are with us. Reward for James being such a great kid and early bd present. He will be 25 June 23!!!!
