Saturday Jun 1 #

6 AM

running long (Humid some clouds nice) 1:25:52 [4] 7.0 mi (12:16 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Bondi 8 grey/red-orange

This was done on strength. Felt like the extra walking from golf and PU and weights as little as the are were helping me. Still not 100% but some of that is no speed work or running on trails where I at least run about a minute faster.

1st 3.5M: ... 47:35.... 13:36 pace
2nd 3.5M: ... 38:17... 10:56 pace...last mile just under 9:45.

Friday May 31 #

6 AM

walk trot (Take it easy) 50:01 [3] 3.15 mi (15:53 / mi)
(rest day) shoes: Hoka Rincon 3 Orange/Green

Walk n trot to get the blood going and rest up.
1 PM

golf (Weatherford Prairie Dunes) 15:00 [3] 5.0 mi (3:00 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Torrent 2 (4 golf)

Beautiful day. Played out in Weatherford with James. We are playing a tournament next week...fund raiser for SWOSU.

Thursday May 30 #

6 AM

golf tempo (A bit of power today) 1:16:25 [4] 6.0 mi (12:44 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Bondi 8 Brite Blue Orange

Felt better. Humid. Hopefully sweating out the bad crap in me.

1st 3M:.....42:14.... 14:04 pace
2nd 3M:....34:11.... 11:24 pace...last mile about 10:40.

Long drill workout...everything...more reps etc. 45 min+

Wednesday May 29 #

6 AM

running (Humid cloudy little wind) 59:52 [3] 4.25 mi (14:05 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Mach 5

Still not 100% as far as power to run quicker but legs continue to feel 'strong'. About 1.75M or so I started to do some tiny itty bitty pickups...really not even that...managed to go 15-20 yards at about 30 seconds or more faster pace (per mile) than I was without the pickup.

I am going about 30 seconds a mile or more slower than last week even though I feel slightly better.
9 AM

golf (Kickingbird GC Edmond) 15:00 [3] 5.0 mi (3:00 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Torrent 2 (4 golf)

Nice day...cooler. Only a light breeze. Played best round since the course reopened a year ago. 81 from white tees.

Tuesday May 28 #

6 AM

running tempo (Slightly humid cloudy) 55:53 [4] 4.05 mi (13:48 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Clifton 8 Brite Blue

For how much the heat on hill Lincoln West course took out of me I felt pretty good by 1/2M mark or so. Still no speed at all in legs. They feel strong but not in a way that I am/can run at my normal pace of about a minute or more faster for the condition I'm in.

Afternoon over course of couple of hours did almost all drills. 35 min.
10 AM

golf (Kickingbird GC Edmond) 12:00 [3] 3.0 mi (4:00 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Torrent 2 (4 golf)

Interrupted on 10 by lightning and impending storm that came in quickly. Only played half of 10th hole. But had to go back to clubhouse so same as playing about 11 full holes.

Monday May 27 #

6 AM

running (Felt same as yesterday) 50:21 [3] 3.5 mi (14:23 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Bondi 7 Lite Blue

Still inbetween. Legs feel strong, energy down some...oddly when I try to 'dash' across street or side entrance I do not have much acceleration and what little I have takes more effort than if I was actually 'dashing'. Stunningly beautiful morning.
12 PM

golf (Lincoln West) 15:00 [3] 4.5 mi (3:20 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Torrent 2 (4 golf)

Hot with almost no wind. Guys wanted to quit after 16 so we did. Played ok front 9. Less ok back 7.

Sunday May 26 #

6 AM

running (Zero leg speed/energy) 1:23:00 [3] 6.0 mi (13:50 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Bondi 8 Brite Blue Orange

Legs never got going until last couple of miles. Basically it took me nearly double to time/distance to get to the normal mid run speed and the last 1/3 of the run was going at the pace I normally would be going mid run...70's but strong winds at times.

1st 3M: 45:45.... 15:15 pace...45 seconds or more slower than 'normal'
2nd 3M: 37:15... 12:25 pace
