I'm back :)

SEJS 10:00 [1] ***
slept:9.0

South East Junior Squad training - Addington Hills
A very productive day, me thinks!
First exercise - shapes. I found these very useful as obviously as I grow, so does my stride so it was great to adjust my pacing and to get back into using the ol' thumb compass. Did three different shapes, increasing in technical difficulty and I was no more than a few paces off each time. Yay for me :)

SEJS 25:00 [5] ***** 2.0 km (12:30 / km)
spiked:12/12c

Addington Hills - second exercise - simplification.
Very tough. Not only was the terrain VERY hilly but it was very technical to but hey, I guess that's the point of training. I did actually find the course very enlightening to the art of simplifying each route as normal, I just sort of thrash my way through it all without thinking about the best route for the terrain. I ran it slower than I would in a race, but that being said, I was accurate. Very good but very painful.

I HATE HILLS.

SEJS 35:00 [3] ***** 2.4 km (14:35 / km)
spiked:6/6c

Third Exercise - map memory.
Finally, something I can do! Very slow but I hit most of the controls very accuratly so I was very happy :) I liked that one. It was very tiring, especially after already running around what felt like the whole map, but I made up for it by eating a nice big lunch. Yum.
