stationary bike 32:00 [3]

2nd attempt at the stationary bike. Whyyyyyyy. My god it's like death on wheels...wheels that go nowhere. 32 minutes felt like a lifetime. And that was with a tv show to watch even.

Strength and Conditioning 15:00 [3]

Strength went lightning fast compared to the biking.

Good news; it's not raining tomorrow, so I'm back outside!

Running 23:48 [3] 4.6 km (5:10 / km) +87m 4:44 / km

Went to test leg. Was grumpy from work (although at least i finished in time to squeeze the run in, didn't think that was going to happen as the day went on). Then I felt my hip flexor most of the run which equaled an even more grumpy lizzie.
Then i went to watch Beauty and the Beast and it cheered me up. (plus it meant 2hrs+ forced to shut up and not complain about my day, which worked wonders ;)

Høiåsmarka. Nore single tracks today. More mud. And a refreshing half dip in a stream when my back wheel slid out on an old bridge.
No brake mishaps tho.
Also, my route kinds looks like the outline of half of nz...this needs looking into to see if i can complete it.

Mtn Biking 36:00 [3] 12.0 km (3:00 / km) +120m 2:51 / km

After my watch ran out of battery. Homeward bound via tistedal

Biking 59:25 [3] 16.6 km (3:35 / km) +313m 3:16 / km

Out to ertemarka. Discovered that muddy running tracks are also muddy when biked. And more of that mud gets on you.
Stubbornly headed up skårefjell despite a lady telling me it wasn't possible on a bike. Ha! Very nice on the top. Very cold on way down.

Biking 1:02:57 [3] 17.6 km (3:35 / km) +265m 3:20 / km

Went to see if biking hurt my leg or not. After an hour can attest that riding on nice tracks is fine. Technical single track, maybe not so smart atm.

Also need to decide whether I'm smart/fast enough to learn that the front/rear brakes are reversed on the handlebars here compared to NZ/AUS, before I have a bad crash (tried hard the other day to lose that race). Or, should I just switch them myself to try lower my risk of stupid crashes?

Note

Didn't start the long distance cos of my leg. No need to aggravate it more.

Orienteering race 47:40 [4] 6.0 km (7:57 / km)

Day cup/Tio test race.
Have confirmed that I need to get out of Norway in order to win a race ;)
Nah. Good run. Felt strong. Pushed when i needed to and mainly slowed down when needed. Disappointed to lose time on the route choice again. Need to slow down on the decision and make sure my head is on straight.
Otherwise just a couple of little slip ups, one out of safety and one not concentrating at the critical time.

Running warm up/down 22:00 [2] 3.8 km (5:47 / km)

4 PM

Orienteering 45:44 intensity: (3:30 @0) + (6:17 @1) + (27:24 @2) + (8:33 @3) 5.05 km (9:03 / km) +108m 8:11 / km
ahr:138 max:153

Slow mo mass start. Eva kept popping up out of different splits, but then I cut short. Upper R leg has been niggly the last couple of days, and was getting more grumpy. Kinda in the hip joint area? Kinda? Not sure how to describe it.
