A classic Bill English walk-run up the river Otter and back. Reckon I ran a solid 5+km of that too :D Including 3km continuous, chatting to Lucy - so not above the talking threshold ;) Didn't see any otters. Disappointing. Nor beavers (the UK's only beavers, which randomly showed up in 2007, noone knows where from. They have since been supplemented to reduce in breeding)

So far today I have looked after her collections of cooking books, Christmas elves, pinecones, pebbles, shells and seaweed. The trick is learning to put them somewhere 'safe' when she's not looking...
Travelling to the UK for Christmas. Training today was spending 45mins exploring the Gatwick carpark trying to find my uncle's car :') He didn't realise it was down one level, not up one level...
The snow from the weekend has melted and refrozen into solid slabs of ice. Yay for orienteering shoes.

Eventually ventured out into the world of solid ice to do a quick skate round delivering christmas cards. Instead ended up drinking beer and eating chestnuts for 1.5hrs at Iliana's. Best training session yet.
Today we had 7 stations in our circuit, not only that, but the added station was brutal. I think I might come out of all this with bigger guns than I've ever had in my life...
