Note

Went out to the day cup, and had kit in my bag for a wander round once the all the starters were off...but the thought of getting wet and cold and having to get changed afterwards was too off putting today. I tended the bonfire instead. Very happy with my choice. As a bonus, I got to toast my cheese sandwich over the flames. Was then even happier with my choice.

Managed the full training :D
With the obvious precautions of not tackling too hard, not playing keeper, and avoiding all chesting of the ball.
Felt pretty good, the difference from normal being that I get pretty puffed after ~3mins without a break. And I need the full rest to recover between exercises.

Wooooo. Up to 49 onthe VO2 today. A linear extrapolation from my 2 data points (always a fool oof method) thus has me back at an elite level in 3 months or so ;)

Released from hospital while it was still light, so got out for a brisk (both pace and temp) walk up to sognsvann. Felt like my bum got frostbite.

Today I got paired on the circuits with one of the keen fit nurses who take part in our sessions every now and then (the unfit ones just watch). She started strong but underestimated the toughness of the session. Pushed me harder though, guess my competitive instinct hasn't had much airing in the last 6months eh.

Then to Oslo for my 3 month check up tomorrow. Have to do another stress test on the bike...hopefully my legs arent too heavy from today. 1 month ago my vo2 max was about 40...(as well as a 7min bike test can test it?)I hope like hell its improved a bit!
