Orienteering 55:33 [3] 9.48 km (5:51 / km) +124m 5:30 / km
ahr:159 max:174 shoes: VJ I rock 2023

Spent all day in bed yesterday with a stomach bug - posssibly thanks to fieldwork at a wwtp all week...
Still felt dodgy this morning but headed to the O just to see how it felt. Went OK but definitely ran out of juice halfway round.

Also, had the most insane sheep encounter. It ran down the hill to avoid me and somehow ended up on its side on a sheep track. Sheep are notoriously bad at getting off their sides, so another orienteer and I went to help it. Successfully got it on its feet, but it seemed to miss the memo that it had to operate its legs...and...it kind of just flopped back over and like in slow motion, started barrel rolling down the hill! I couldn't do anything but stand in horror as this sheep rolliepollied down the steep hill. Just imagine what a cartoon of it would look like, and it honestly looked just like that! We thought we'd killed the sheep and that it would roll past about a dozen more orienteers on its way to the foot of the hill...but then it somehow just landed on its feet, kinda shook it off, and wobbled away! Absolutely insane. consider me traumatized.
