Rogaine day 2. Started out 0430 feeling weary. A bit better after the first break. From a track on the N side of Glenmalur, along the flanks of Mullacor, over Lugduff, past a control & over the middle of Camaderry. Breakfast including coffee just above the mines and suddenly felt full of energy. Ruppulagh, Brockagh, bought water in Laragh, then dashing to cram in points - across the river, back across to Derrybawn forest for 2 controls, & home with 12 mins to spare.
Garmin ran low about 10:30.

Rogaine Day 1. from Derrybawn woods south by Ballybraid and woods N of the military road, skirted Croaghanmoira, then Aughavannagh where a friendly farming family gave us water. Took a chance on the forest heading up towards Carrrawaystick which paid off for (but not for others). Over Carrawaystick, pst Kelly's L & iintoi Glenmalure. Stopped on the track heading for the Wicklow Way.
