From Penon to Col de la Sciaz. Avalanche warnings for everywhere over 1800 so went for a low walk. Too lazy to carry the raquettes (foolish) and when we got to deep snow on the col decided not to wade on to M Morbier/Pelat. Learned about gear and snow.

Another new route, Barby to Curienne. Feeling very poor, struggled uphill, though it wasn't actually that bad, and some nice viewpoints over Chambery and mountains. Some good downhill single and a forest traverse, but the last track down was not cyclable, pity, not worth doing again.
