Dent du Chat, hoping the promised thunderstorm wouldn't arrive - it did, at 8pm. This is always nicer than I remember, and seems to get easier as I get to know it better, got into a nice steady pace, with pauses at the flatter bits.

Terrain Run 45:39 intensity: (9:23 @0) + (7:50 @1) + (5:44 @2) + (12:20 @3) + (10:04 @4) + (18 @5) 3.72 km (12:17 / km) +150m 10:13 / km

Nice spin from Crolles to St Francois & back exploring trails - found some nice single tracks, just need to link them together.

Pecloz - Armenaz - Chamosseran ridge. Had been planning this for a while, needed a decent weather and longish daylight. The path towards Pecloz from Nant Perdu is uncertain but it gets better up a bit higher & we found it by going straight up the hill. The W ridge was both less and more exposed than I remember, less gravelly path but more places where a slip was not an option.
Clouds looked ominous so lunch on Pecloz was quick, but when we got across to Armenaz they had cleared and we started cautiously down the ridge towards Chamosseran & Fougere. It's impossible to tell looking down these ridges what you're going to meet so it was good to see someone coming up. There were a few very steep loose steps, then a lovely grassy ridge, pretty narrow some of the time. From Fougere I had my eye on a ridiculous looking zigzag path , which went quite efficiently. Great walk (almost scramble). 7 1/2 hrs.
