Returned to Fåfängorna as it's a new area for me and last chance to get some night-o in before Tiomila as sunset is pretty late now for midweek training.
Started shadowing Gina for the first part, using Nyäsnatt controls so there were little tags, in the same area as she had some confusion yesterday to work through what had happened. I think it was helpful and as always I learn a little bit about what I do because of differences.

Then I left her at some point in the middle of some green and went solo in an area we didn't really have any controls in yesterday. I was solid anyway, got into the same flow as towards the end yesterday and had good map contact, reading the features and lines into the controls well.

Towards the end I came out on a track and I heard what sounded like Regina crying for help. I stopped and heard the cry a few more times but managed to convince myself it was a bird. I felt a bit bad and lost concentration a bit but was definitely worried! Seems it was some bird and Regina heard it too thinking it was me and went through the same thought process!
