Made our way to Mexico City one day earlier than planned due to a cold going around among the married parties. Thus missed a Volcano trip :( but and extra day of city !? Hit up the city centre proper to start with. Doing the old Technotitlan temple which is right there. Very cool. Tired feet though and we didn't manage the whole of the museum part. May have been more interesting with more English info in that part. Back to our hostel then before

I went for a full lap of the Chapultepec park. Nice place alright. Lovely big park with nice trees and lakes and all the trappings. Several outdoor gym things too. Felt pretty alright mostly but tired towards the end. Altitude + long day + little food being the culprit. Though I got in trouble from some soldier guy at one point who was whistling. I thought it was at me but actually he was trying to get some other guys attention to open some gate for me which was nice.

Then dinner with some friends while the Oscars were on TV in the background. Gina got marlin tacos which were pretty great. Took an extra adventure from the hostel to get some churros which was an excellent decision.
