IOC long on Brockagh.
Started off being late for my start. Rocked up my name was called immediately, got the last piece of tape on my shoes 30 secs before i started.
Felt tired heading to 1but I got the control fine after a small bit of hesitation in the circle. on the way up to 2 I was suffereing and I was thinking this doesnt bode well. straight into the control.
going to 3 i just wasnt concentrating, trying to make my legs run and i started into the wrong gap between the hills, noticed it quickly but was still kicking myself and felt crap running.
I thought i'd go high for 4 and i started up the hill, then i realised I actually felt goodish and was able to run a bit and started to get into it properly, small bit high on coming into the control but I knew where I Was. got 5,6 perfect, used the line to navigate to 7...
I ha dtrouble placing my quickroute to number 8, i saw 9 from the crest of the hill. I literally just ran to 10 not paying any attention, got into the circle and was like oh yeah should read the map. but the control was there!
11 was easy i thought. 12 I had thought about going around but decided against it, caught the knolls on the ridge and compassed in from them. saw the knoll to the left of the control and was unsure of here i was, slow into the control then but i got it okay.
over the easy running hill top to 13. sawt eh lower rock coming into it and knew where it was. looked up for the fence for 14 and 15 and found them easy, and died up to 16. managed to get some speed back to 17 and then i saw a baldy guy in a corko top behind me so i tried to speed up to 18, it wasn't actually marcus
nothing interesting happened after that, apart from seeing the hill on 19 and compassing in from that...
need to be faster and fitter

JK relay.

Felt yesterday in my legs but I went for it today. Caught Ivan just after the start kite, he put on a huge burst and then got lost. I got 1 & 2 spot on. missed 3 a little and then 4 but i caught myself and pulled it back together. Saw Andrew heading up the hill to 6 and I tried to catch him. Gained a little on the way to 7 but i went the wrong way around a depression and lost sight of him again. Came through the spectator just behind Laurence but couldnt make any ground on him through the fast town place. he missed 13 a little and i got closer but didnt have any more speed in the legs to pull him in that last bit.

great run, less than 30secs time loss, just need more speed
