Note
(injured)

Parking cars at the IMRA, then hanging around drinking tea and chatting. Jealous for sure of everyone who was out running but sometimes you have to skip them in order to do future ones.

What a gorgeously sunny day. Pity I wasn't out doing anything. Went with G to the parkrun and watched her at that. Then had a fairly lazy day at home, did a bit of light gardening. Testing out cycling with the hip but it wasn't really a goer.

Hip still sore. Physio loosened out my hip significantly. Bit less sore to walk up stairs afterwards. Mostly from trauma she reckons and just needs time to get unenflamed. So a few more days not aggravating it and ibuprofen.

Note
(rest day)

Post SHI. Hip seems grand today, though I had to take pills for all the races over the weekend so resting it. Kind of surprised with the long result really, coming in 10 mins down on GG. Felt good through the end of the course but was glad Kev was around to keep me going a bit. Could have been a bit tidier with the oing. Relay I felt more sluggish for, feeling the lack of speed work in the last few weeks but did the job I needed to do anyway, catching and passing the welsh guy with enough of a gap that Ben couldn't see Conor. Should start to get back on some proper training now and have a few fun things lined up.
