Social one in Phoenix park w/ Rosin, Niamh, Mike & G. Decided to skip the hill with Storm Ciara about. First 15 mins it seemed rather justified. Later the weather became quite nice actually. Tea and lunch in the visitor centre afterwards.

Arrived at Marlay only to find it closed. Quickly changed plan to go to Bushy and arrived there just in time, though that meant I was right at the back of the queue. Had to work my way through crowds for the first k or so. Decent after that but it was still busy with having to lap people, definitely slower than Marlay but I also felt quite sluggish and found breathing hard. They wouldn't scan my phone here either so no result again. (that's 3/4 this year with no result!). Happened across the Long family and went for tea in theirs.

Ken was over for a conference so I went into town to meet him and go for a run. Got out early so pretty the start was in the bright which was a joy. Along the canal to the park for a shortened lap and then back again. Good catch up.

Note

Body tired towards the end of lat week. Easier one this week more like 60k before we ramp up again. Leaving out the hills with the hint of a cold about too.

Easy with Brian. Bit shorter and a different route this week. We went along the Tolka river valley path. Nice but a bit muddy in spots. Then a loop around some parks before home

Up late for superbowl then a great lie in with a day off. Climbing in the nice quiet of midday.
New whites, got the first one, then close on a few. Some projects to do for the next while anyway. Maybe the beginnings of a cold happening.
