rowing race (indoor) 8:13 [5] 2.0 km (4:07 / km)

Scottish Indoor rowing champs :) i came 3rd!! yay really happy i was aiming to come in the top 3 (and get a PB (but i didnt do that, missed it by 3 seconds but ah well... i think its harder to get a PB at a competition cause there's so much to think about...)) racing distance is 2000m for my age group.

rowing race (indoor) 3:00 [3] 0.5 km (6:00 / km)

SIRC girls under 19 relays i was in a composite team with other clubs but our relay team (me, sophie, niamh, julie) came 2nd!! really happy we were sitting 3rd for most of the way but overtook in last 50m really exciting and really good fun :) (racing distance 2000m split between 4 people)

orienteering race (urban) 35:00 [4] 3.6 km (9:43 / km)

had a fairly good run but overall a bit of hesitaion/bad route choice. messed up mainly on no. 8 (lost about 2 minutes) and 12 (lost about 2 minutes) but was happy with it overall and really enjoyed it as it was very different to 'normal' orienteering.

rest day before the weekend, cant wait till the weekend races in Edinburgh =) should be good fun and the ceilidh!!

also the Scottish Indoor Rowing champs on sunday, got 4 races (J16, open lightweight sprint, girls u19 relay team, womens relay team.) i'd really like to do well at them but will just have to see how i get on.... i want to get a PB though :)

i was really happy because i decided to do a 2000m piece but by sustaining a good rhythm so i could work out what pace i am comfortable with at the weekend to see what each spilt time should be during my race. i was quite tired after this practice but not exhausted. at the weekend i want to go below 8 minutes but i'll just have to see....

coached at swim club as well, got all the little kids doing fun relays since i was the only coach =S (apart from a pool-side helper) which was quite interesting....
