rowing race (final) 7:47 [5] 2.0 km (3:54 / km)

British final, was probably most exciting but exhausting race we've done, all 6 boats were in a line till about the 1000m mark, and then i dont know what happened, we made good calls, everyone was doing good builds and pushes and i tried my best to keep the rate up but we slowly fell a bit further behind, the race was so close, but we came 6th by less then a second. we were wanting to come in the top 5, but to be honest we were just happy we made the final. we also bet our PB by over 4 seconds :) everyone felt a bit downhartened coz we were wanting to come in the top 5, but i guess i can settle with 6th, and to be honest i'm actually exstatic with that now, a really good weekend apart from the weather (appauling for rowing, so windy....)

fist race, we came 3rd, had to go to repesage. if we came top 2 in repesage we would get to final. all felt a bit down afterwards, coz we were really hoping to get staight to final in this race, especially after all the training, but we just missed out :(

won the repesage! Yes!!! so happy were in the final tomorrow yaaaaay (: i even forgot to turn the ratemeter on, but this was such a solid race, good calls, good run on the boat even in bad weather, felt soooo good :) celebrated at pizza hut afterwards! :)

did slide work to warm up, then a couple of focus 40's, and then main session was a pyramid (fairly short but intense) of 30secs sprint 30s light 45s sprint 45s light 1min sprint 1 min light 1m30s sprint 1m30s light 1min sprint 1 min light 45s sprint 45s light 30s sprint. was tiring, but also the last main session before nats! felt like it went fairly well.
