orienteering race 1:01:48 [3] 5.3 km (11:40 / km) +180m 9:58 / km

sol 1 at Dalrulzion, did ok but not too great was hesitante at a lot of them and found the navigation pretty tricky and also the running reallly slow underfoot (lots of fallen trees) but still enjoyed it, well parts of it. worst control were 10 and 14, mucked them up and was really annoyed because until number 10 i was doing well thinking about CAR and having a plan but my plan went to pot on number 10 coz i was making a parallel error. now i've looked at it a second time ive also realised that my 'plan' probs wasn't the safest (although it could have been the fastest if i nailed the navigating) so don't really know what went through my head at the time. ach well, gonna put up course on route gadget later, Wonders of the Universe is on :) (love this, and it can count for revision for physics- waaay better then doing boring crap from textbooks =D )

orienteering race (sprint) 20:22 [4] 2.8 km (7:16 / km)

Scottish Sprint champs, really enjoyed it, it wasn't too confusing but still had to be careful like always on a sprint. came 2nd in W18 :) pretty pleased with my run, all controls were pretty good apart from 3, 7 and 23, which i was hesitante at and had bad route choice.
