I had a pretty good race, ran with a group of guys most of the course (all legs are unforked). In the beginning of the course the terrain was amazing, I ran there thinking "this is dream terrain". In the end there was a lot of logged and green areas which weren't as fun. I was a bit off for some controls and took some questionable routechoices in the end.
4th leg, 49/74 results
FR 9.138km

This was so much fun! Beautiful weather, nice spot for camping, (mostly) nice woods. And having a team with the family is very different from running with the club, you were more engaged in everyones races. Great way to hang out with cousins, aunts, uncles etc! Rybolaget 46/74

Planned to really pay attention to route choices and to focus in the control approach.
Started well with a trail route choice that I think was good for me but then left the trail too early and got really confused, wandered a bit before I went back out to the trail and started over. Big mistake, tried to shake it off and do better for the rest of the course but never got in to it. Hesitant and slightly off in the ring on most. Funny that I won the short climb leg to 5, felt like I was dying there going really slow.

Varbergsmästerskap, lång
results
Cute little finish area right by a lake on this chilly but sunny evening. The terrain was not as cute, very rough. Would have been faster to run far around on roads instead of fighting through that stuff. Was exhausted by the time I got to the control area for 1 & 2 and didn't focus so I wandered around for a bit. There were a few nice controls in the middle of the course. Then some more logged areas/thick woods/marsh in the end and a missplaced control.
With that kind of terrain I'm glad I made it around my course in one piece, no twisted ankles before Tjoget this weekend!
