From Ladybower straight up Win Hill, quick check out next control point routes etc. Recce
Route from Win Hill to High Neb -> via road - easy and steady running
Route part two (High Neb back to Ladybower) -> straight line - tougher underfoot, very marshy (today), seriously chuffin windy, more energy used definitely than road and that was going downhill instead of up.

Conclusion: Road is definitely least nav and physical effort.

Near loss of limbs by traps near the end of the descent from Bamford Edge. Watchout for them people!

Recce with Neill, Naomi and Sarah in the glorious peaks weather.

Original route abandoned due to tree blocking road up to top of Ladybower.
Plan B.
Up to Lost Lad, then check out routes to next two checkpoints. Loads of teams out so was good for checking better lines. Large team faff at the raging torrent crossing just after SFC. Eventual Awesome Team crossing, large adrenaline rush powered ascent and neverending toddle along Howden Edge. Small nav fails but overall very good recce. VERY useful recce.
Back via Howden Clough and along the resevoir.

Conclusion: We don't like rivers still but we know we can definitely cross at once place successfully when the water level is super high. Win.

30kg curls
25kg adductions
25kg abductions

Weaker on the extensions but could take more on the ab/dductions.
