Run warm up/down (Recovery) 35:10 [3] 3.6 mi (9:46 / mi) +175m 8:29 / mi
shoes: Asics 2150B4.5

No HRM as it rubbed a chunk out of my back yesterday - was pretty chilled though and it wasn't about HR it was about getting my legs to work again.
Usual loop BoleHill-Stables-Allotments, then turned left instead of straight on up to the A57. Back through the estate to the stables, then across to the cemetry path and back through crookes. Needed to be out a tad longer and a little faster but was too tired. Will try and get out for bout 45mins tomorrow.

Stretching 10:00 [0]

Calves much better quads stiff and sore but manageable :)

Run race (Three Peaks FR) 4:45:48 [5] 23.43 mi (12:12 / mi) +1675m 9:59 / mi
ahr:179 max:193 shoes: Walsh Spiritlite

Good start, felt fine, ok climb of Pen-Y-Ghent, then took a fair few on the descent which made me very happy, carried on steady across the boring bit, but got really down by the time I hit the road, and lost a lot of the time I'd caught on people in the mile up the road to Ribblehead. Had a very much needed drink from Neill and trogged on up to the Whernside climb. Stomach not happy and the two gels I had did nothing for my legs. Eventually got to the summit and cruised down to the farm well inside the Hill Inn cut off which I was beginning to worry about whilst climbing. Had a couple of jelly babies, a drink and set off a little refreshed up Inglebrough. Massive mental boost when I hit the summit and picked up around 70 places on that last leg back into town. So much so, Neill missed me finish cos I was well ahead of the people he had been using to judge my pace :D took a lady on the run-in as well :)
Feeling well tired, frustrated at the hideousness that was the middle section but pleased I did it and ready for a PB next year.

Run warm up/down 2:00 [1]
shoes: Walsh Spiritlite

Around the finish back to find Neill, Andy and Sarah, to the car to drop off my bumbag and to the burger van for fooooooood.

Reverse of the Bleaklow-Snake Top HPM bit in the gorgeous sunshine.

Run 17:11 [3] 1.62 mi (10:36 / mi) +50m 9:41 / mi
ahr:179 max:187 shoes: Walsh Spiritlite

Carried on HPM route backwards across to Wainstones, I recognised a lot from the recces I did with dad over Xmas which was good considering it was all under several feet of snow.

Run long 1:24:59 [2] 5.9 mi (14:24 / mi) +355m 12:08 / mi
ahr:180 max:191 shoes: Walsh Spiritlite

Decided to go back the same way would be boring so headed off down a different path, ended up winding down a valley and emerged somewhere near the start of the Capricorn from a few years ago. This was not where I needed to be so did a 90degree turn, straight across the valley and roamed cross-country until I could see snake top again.

Run 2:48 [3] 0.3 mi (9:20 / mi) +5m 8:52 / mi
ahr:182 max:187 shoes: Walsh Spiritlite

Hit the track and cruised back along the Pennine Way to the car. Good day out :)
