Running 58:11 intensity: (44:26 @1) + (9:40 @2) + (4:05 @3) 4.33 km (13:26 / km) +336m 9:41 / km
ahr:110 max:157

Gridding with Tim, managed to drag him out of bed to head up to NW3 then we discovered that the tube doesn't start til 7am on Sunday morning! Boris biked over to Trafalgar square then jumped on a bus to get up there then took us ages to work out which box it was near the station so we only ran for half an hour of peak time, then we were both racing to log a run in before 8 and there was someone in the phonebox! Once we got the speed and frequency badges we'd taken the postcode back though so worth it.

Gridding with Tim, few shuttles in SW3 followed by a trip over to SW7 to get our 6 postcodes badges then cycled back home, forgot to turn the watch off when got on the bike so only really 7km

Early morning blitz on WC2 with Akeel, there was a JRI runner out for three hours so we only just managed to keep our lead, thought I did about 16x600m.

Remarkably the ice bath seems to have worked, legs felt much fresher when I got up although my right calf is still quite tight, must keep streaching it, don't want to end up injured.

Running tempo 51:54 intensity: (20:34 @1) + (13:34 @2) + (17:46 @3) 6.27 km (8:17 / km) +326m 6:34 / km
ahr:137 max:156

10x500m SW3 again, I'm going to call these tempo intervals, they weren't fast enough to be proper intervals but I tried to push the pace, just wanted a few extras to prove to the others that I do intend to keep the team crown for SW3.

Decided to try an ice bath when I got home as my legs are really suffering, only had two ice packs in the freezer so probably not as cold as it should have been but enough to be pretty painful to get into, sat for 10 min with a towel wrapped around my shoulders and tried to take my mind off the cold by reading a book.

Running 2:30:00 [2] 15.0 km (10:00 / km)
shoes: Newton Motus

It all kicked off in SW3 this evening, another team decided they wanted a go at the team crown and had three people out so I jogged up and down for two and a half hours to keep us in the lead there. At one point there were five of us all together so there was some queueing for the boxes, they're all quite friendly really.

Running 1:38:26 intensity: (1:14:47 @1) + (12:23 @2) + (11:16 @3) 9.33 km (10:33 / km) +470m 8:26 / km
ahr:120 max:158

Early shuttle runs on the Kings road with Tim to take the SW3 team crown, forgot to turn off the GPS until after I'd got a borris bike from Flood St to cycle home and can't convince SportTracks to edit the route :( not the worlds most interesting route anyhow

Knee felt a little stiff when I got up but felt fine to run on.

Note
(rest day)

Tripped on the pavement trying to go for a run yesterday and bashed my right knee again, also completely failed to put my hands out this time so have an attractive busted lip. Iced my knee for about 2 hours Sunday evening and it didn't feel too stiff this morning so hopefully it's just superficial bruising, will attempt to run again tomorrow morning
