no knee pain, can prolly close that one out. Some PF twinges 2/3 thru but cleared up. Tomorrow will be the test, if I wake up pain free, then decide to run.

Sunday Nov 5

orienteering race 57:00 [3] 6 km (9:30 / km)
(injured)
white clay creek red official distance (believe actual to be 5-10% longer, but don't care to accurately measure it)

speed down about 10% (no technical issues). Runner's knee possibly resolved, at least for present volumes. PF is still a wild card; will take next 2-3 weeks off except for O meets unless they increase pain (nothing has yet to increase pain). Move goal of getting back to 100% to end first Q 07. Running with orthotics felt awkward, especially on sidehills.

Friday Nov 3

running (trail/XC) 42:13 [3] 8.67 km (4:52 / km)
(injured) shoes: yellow
joy loop 1

3 brief bursts of pain early, but none on the downhill or second half. Normally would not make the radar.

Volume increase 30% over last week, probably too aggressive. The good news seems to be the recovery is on schedule, the bad news is that it seems likely I have a case of plantar fasciitis, extremely mild to be sure, and again pain that would not show up on the radar were I not hypersensitive right now. Its been there for 6 weeks, so all the talk has caused me to make yet another doctor's appt to check it out. It would be too much to get another "you're not allowed to run".

I should get a "you're not allowed to post on AP". I think I have more of a chance at making a WOC team than my pretentious, BS posts have of ever meaning a damn thing and actually helping to fix the obvious and substantitive problems. I feel sick at my stomach after writing some of that drivel, so we'll take a moratorium on that.

C • Oh but we'd miss the drivel. ... 1
Note
(injured)
diagnosed with plantar fasciitis

Thursday Nov 2

running (trail/XC) 49:15 [3] 10 km (4:56 / km)
(injured)
joy loop 2

probably more like a 2 until someone was about 300m behind me on the last 2500m and I didn't feel like being taken.

I guess our lizard brains are hardwired to be competitive.

Wednesday Nov 1

aerobics 30:00 [3]
