blew off intervals again this week. Got to the park just before 7 and it was way too beautiful to waste this day on intervals when I could gallop around Mt. Joy and touch into my primal evolutionary-honed love of grasslands/savanna looking things, so that's what I did. Actually found gear 4 for the last 3K, which means I was pretty lazy for the first 9, I suppose. I felt good enough for a PR today, but forgot I was supposed to be training until the end.
Instead, I was thinking about digital cameras, and I suppose its time to get one. And I'm thinking I do have a nice flim SLR but would really love the convienence of digital, as apparently they are good enough now, but I don't want to settle for a point-and-shoot, because using an SLR all my life, it would seem tough to go back, wouldn't it, and the entry level SLRs are $800 and don't seem to be good enough, so we're talking a minumum of $1300 for a decent digital SLR, and that doesn't include the glass, and its like geez, I need new running shoes also. Why does life have to be so complicated?
Well, I assume the google ads will point me to the camera I should buy. That would make life simple, wouldn't it?
