Orienteering race (night orienteering) 38:36 [3] *** 3.88 km (9:57 / km) +200m 7:55 / km

Night orienteering at Cairn wood, score event, 15 controls, mass punching start.
Sleet and snow but good turnout - Jon had got the lend of emit units (not the most popular!) - controls well spread and quite difficult to find in the snow covered brambles.
Ran alone for the first 25 or so minutes and then met Jack at 4th last - soon discovered he had planned on the same finish as me and had started a few seconds behind me! Of course he had the legs in the sprint for the finish - a very rare victory over the old man.
5 mins ahead of Paul who was the only other to clear the course.
*Jack seems to navigate better at night - maybe he concentrates more. am thinking of getting him some blinkers.
*James tripped over Molly on the race for the line and we all ended up at A&E for 4 hours before James emerged on crutches (no break)
We missed SlumDog though!!!
