Warm up and cool down jog around the football pitches

Orienteering intervals 19:13 [4] ** 4.22 km (4:33 / km)
spiked:15/15c (injured)

Sprint orienteering training with Jack and Harry at Ormeau park.

Ran 3 sets of 5 controls with 30secs between us.
Good pace and handy wee area. Routes were mainly straight but there was some variation.

lower body was sore from the last few days work. I now have a pretty severe back strain as well. First back problem since I started running.
I always said I would pack it in if my back went - I hope it clears up :(

Training at Ormeau with J and H.

Mass start head to head over 10 controls.
It was good to see the variation in routes - Jack has far more speed than me but slight errors in route hoice mean I can catch up at times.
Harry has less speed but is more deliberate in his approach.

Good fun running together.
Then went to watch James on the pump track :)
