So much for being re-energised, worked 46hours W,T&F back to being exhausted!

Had to get out and train today, working again tomorrow :(
Took MTB out to see how its going since its overhaul.

Dromara - Finnis - Windy gap - Leitrim - top of Shanlieve - Ballywillwill - Drumkeragh for wee run and then back home
very humid and hazy with little breeze.

Canoe race down at Begney lough as part of the Dromara festival.
Big, lively crowd were well entertained!
our team of Me, Jack and Harry and the Stewart boys from next door made it to the semi finals but lost to the 'Shy Teds'

We all jumped in afterwards to cool off :)

Rode upto Drumkeragh and back with Jack for trailrun, I was on racer Jack on MTB. wind picking up.

I had today off work (bank holiday) - 3 days not working in a row, I feel re-energised, I want to run hard and fast!

Me and Jack do 2 hilly laps up at Drumkeragh, he makes me run faster than i would on my own. I tell him i run these laps in about 16-17mins now.
when i was fitter i could run them in 14 mins or less.

We push hard first lap is 15.38 I think its always good to leave your best lap to last so I think we went a bit hard on that one!
This lap we blast it on the downhills and make it in 14.50.

2 laps in 30.28 - I havn't run sub 30 for 2 laps since 2006 so im happy to be near it!
No bad pains either - Bonus.
