Hill run long 2:01:54 [3] 15.74 km (7:45 / km) +900m 6:01 / km


Hill run after the coaching assessment at the new Tollymore mountain centre.
Headed out to Donard wood then up Commedagh via Shan slieve
followed the wall to Slievenaglogh then dropped onto Lukes mountain and back to the mountain centre.

felt strong enough on the climbs but legs were burning (they have started to do this often?)

hills are very dry - Its nice to finish with clean shoes for a change.

WEE series event in Belvoir forest. Big turn out on a nice evening - the WEE events are very popular when held in Belfast parks with lots of new faces turning up for a run.

Nice course with minimal nettle problems - Patrick eat your heart out :)

Ran well with good flow over a relatively simple course Jack was first in 24.28 I think the only person to run under 25.

* Got to control 12 just as some drunk yob was trying to rip it off a tree it was padlocked to! I asked what he was doing and he said he was just putting it back - nice one!!
