Bikeride to Newcastle and back to measure up Gregs new office.
I was on MTB Jack on the roadbike.
It was blowing hard from the North so I have split this ride into two different sessions.

Down to Newcastle, wind behind we flew along!

coming home was a different story.
It was a lovely sunny day but we had to climb into a gale
It was tough going.

Foot and hamstring felt ok - there was no pressure on them though.
probably won't run again till next weekend.

On the way down the loanin Jacks back de-railer broke - He had to use his Bike like an over-sized scooter freewheeling down the hills :)

Last wee series event of 2010 - goodbye summer :(

Musgrave park is one of my favorites, very detailed wee area with many odd shaped flower beds. Hedges, tenniscourts and buildings add to route choice fun also.

ran well but messed up 5 to 6 (5 was used twice) started running from 5 towrds 8 - lost about 25 secs. 2 or 3 other minors when control not exactly where i expected but this is normal when the controls need to be padlocked to a tree for security.

20:26 a minute behind Jack.

Pulled my Hamstring half way round so that is to add to my sore foot :(
