Yeh I know, Hillwalking is'nt tough but i was sweating!

Tagging sites for next weekends colour series event I'm planning down at Slievenagore covered a lot of shitty ground.

Hope the weathers good next Saturday.

1 PM

Orienteering race 46:19 [4] *** 5.97 km (7:45 / km)
spiked:15/21c

Autumn series race at Cairn wood.
courses planned by Paul McArthur and were very good with some excellent legs although 2 control placements were 20 or so meters out.

ran strongly and pleased with my physical form orienteering was rather ragged to say the least and without mistakes I could have run 40 mins.

Jack caught me going to number nine and was first overall, Declan beat me by 20 odd seconds. Still I am happy as I know i am not the fastest in the areas that are over-used!!

2 PM

Trail running warm up/down 15:00 [2] 1.5 km (10:00 / km)

Warm down run with Jack

Trail running 34:43 [3] 6.3 km (5:31 / km) +240m 4:38 / km

Trailrun at Drumkeragh - 2 hilly loops

was feeling very weak and low on energy at the start - eventually found a steady pace.
The tracks have been seriously cut up after the rally went through at the weekend. I wonder will the FS ask them to fix the mess?

Lap 1 17.50
Lap 2 16.52
