Walk 4:50:00 [3] 19.0 km (15:16 / km)

Nice stroll in the sun with Julie - from Kangaroo Gully to Rocky Rises via Big Hill, Crusoe South, Dead Bullock Gully and Browns Reef. Wore boots. Now 2/3 of the way round. Lucky me.

Walk 55:00 [3] 4.2 km (13:06 / km)
(injured)

I felt the need to clear my head and went for a walk in Reef Hills.
I soon headed bush and wandered, admiring the open grassy running and the scattered mining detail. One day it will make a nice map. Wore my boots and my ankle was fine under these conditions

Walk 50:00 [3] 4.6 km (10:52 / km)
(injured)

Tried to run but my back was very sore and felt compressed with every step, so l just walked. Went to Reef Hills - dogs offlead, rubbish dumped, flood water everywhere and an evil eye from the police patrolling the area.

Run 18:57 [3] 2.35 km (8:04 / km)
(injured)

Ankle felt a bit better, although is still bruised, and my frustration with inactivity got the better of me so l went for a short jog. Happy with that, but the masked couple l passed wasn't (l was carrying mine).

Stretching/exercises 30:00 [2]

Yoga and exercises in my converted back bedroom at Benalla. I cant believe l am so out of shape - there is a lot of room for improvement. I think the stretching has been good for all current ailments.

Walk 50:00 [2] 4.6 km (10:52 / km)
(injured)

I have rested my ankle for a week and a half. The bruising was on both sides, underneath my foot and extended to my toes, so was a bit worse than expected. For the last few days l have tottered around the block - about 200 metres. Yesterday l got a fantastic ankle bandage infused with carbon (called an Incrediwear Active Pain Relief ankle sock) and today my restless legs told me enough was enough and it was time for a walk. I did a lap of Benalla lake. My ankle got sore aound half way and then came good.

Walk 3:30:00 [3] 16.8 km (12:30 / km)
(injured)

Lovely walk with Julie from Wildflower Drive to Kangaroo Flat, on public land. Mostly on tracks but some cross country. Great little adventure prior to lockdown. Part 1 of our efforts to circumnavigate Bendigo. Rolled my ankle, but not too badly.

Orienteering 1:07:47 [3] 6.83 km (9:55 / km)
(injured)

Peter the Great event course 2. A really nice fast area and l was going to practice my bearings. Everything, including my knee, was going Ok until #3, when l tripped on a track (reading my map) and fell. When l got up, north had turned into south, and l started to use my compass in reverse. Then it seemed to point east, then west, then north again. I gave up after wandering badly from 6 to 7, and just went on the features. Time for a new compass. Lovely day out in the sun.
